Good for you that you are willing and able to pursue the highest purity of silver for making CS. You really should have a certificate of analysis in conformance with ASTM B-742-90 to confirm the purity. Did you receive one with your purchase?

G-Khan, can you back up your claim that CS only kills anerobic bacteria and not aerobic bacteria? I don't understand how.

You said that you were going to post a picture of the analysis of the 99999 silver that you bought. It has been a few days and many of us are curious about this.

Angry Re: Check out how G-khan keeps his house bacteria free..

You have been scammed. This "certificate" is completely bogus. They call it a "certificate of compliance". What the heck is that? I think it has something to do with real estate, perhaps adding a room to your house. They state that their analysis yields results in parts per 1,000,000. This is not the way elements are analyzed. Analysis consists of percentages. How nicely it works out for them that they say that of a million parts, 999,994 are silver and the remaining parts are 2 gold, 2 platinum and 2 palladium, all precious metals. How nice for them. It all adds to 1,000,000 parts. This is total BS as they state that there is no copper. The simple fact is that there will always be copper as the main impurity in silver. If you want to see what a real certificate of analysis looks like go to:

http://www.atlasnova.com/assy.pdf

I suppose that fact that they called this a "certificate of compliance" might prevent them from being convicted of outright fraud. I don't know what it is that you have but it certainly is not 99999 silver. It probably isn't even 9999 silver. If you send it back to them to get your money back, (hopefully you used a charge card), I would keep a couple of inches for evidence. I hope that not too many members of this forum have fallen for this scam.

I wasn't scammed. I see you have provided no proof, no links, just your what you say.

In fact sent some to a Christian Brother in Cyprus, converting Muslims to Jesus Christ! He says it is the best silver he has worked with. Which settles things with me.

Also, you have provided no one with any other source? And how does one know that they are not going to get scammed there?

I am in no way connected with the company that I made my purchase from.

Im just trying to provide myself, my family, and friends with some protection from the Dr Frankinstein's of the world.

From where I'm from, you don't bash someone or something without somekind of evidence, otherwise you are just slandering someone you don't even know.

Cooler heads prevail ...... with enough links for everyone.

Certificate of Compliance

A document shipped with a customer-ordered product when required by contract that indicates that the product meets or exceeds all customer-specified performance characteristics.

vs

Certificate of Analysis

The assy certificate was in compliance with ASTM B-742-90 (fine print at the bottom)

ASTM B 742 Document Information:

Title: Standard Specification for Fine Silver Electrical Contact Fabricated Material

Publication Date:
Aug 31, 1990

Scope:

This specification covers fine silver grade 99.9 % in fabricated form. The forms covered are tubing, rod, wire, strip, and sheet for electrical contact applications.

The electrical contact properties may vary dependent upon the method of manufacture (refer to 6.3).

The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded as standard. The values given in parentheses are mathematical conversions to SI units that are provided for information only and are not considered standard.

Check out the picture of it working.. CS Mister
Very nice setup, khan. I think I will have to get me one of those. I like humidifiers but have avoided them out of fears of bacterial growth inside of them. Even if all the CS does is to prevent that, it's a good thing. But I suspect that having it in the air and breathing it in may be beneficial. Maybe I'll rig up a couple by the doors and spray people down when they enter my home. Hehe.

Thanks to T for bumping
