These are the guys that finally got the rights to drill under that open pit that the poor Brazilians had a big gold rush too back in the 80's. I remember seeing it on 60 Minutes. Everybody got a 6' by 6' claim and they were digging to China in sticky red mud.

That's a damned rich hole! Miners often quesstimate that a hole is roughly worth the metals contained in a cube of the width of a strike. I figure a 70 meter cube will run up to about a million tons of rock. That rock has about $3000 worth of PMs in a ton. So, that hole alone is potentially worth 3 billion$. Looks like this concentration may be a exception to the general overall grade of their ore especially in platinum and palladium, but it is tough to tell in a folded rock such as this. Often you can get a repeat of the "glory holes" in lower layers down the hinge; what is called "saddle reefs".

Since their market cap. is about $350 million dollars with 58 million shares out at $5.89 I wouldn't say that they were overvalued as this is their first rather shallow[about 250 meters] drill campaign and they might well find a lot more gold deeper.

I sure wish I had bought this baby when 6 first posted info about it (more than a year ago?).

I was at the big mining investment conference in Toronto this past weekend. Somebody asked one of the presenters about Colossus. The guy said "the easy money has already been made, and they will encounter a lot of problems in getting the mine into production, due to bad relations with the locals who don't recognize a Canadian company's rights to minerals and they won't stay off the property, etc."

I liked them initially because they clearly had the world's NUMBER ONE place to drill a ****in hole!

Lo & behold, they drilled one of the best holes of all time, re 70m x $3000 au/pt/pd. That's so rich, that even Bre-X's made up numbers were never even this good!

All their other holes are in a class above too, it's the richest deposit in the world.

So says me, so says Dines, so says Oliver from Sprott.

Worth betting on imho.

It's not a "cheap" stock. All they got so far is drill holes & not even a 43-101 resource, and they already cost $.333 billion! Plenty of gold stocks with 1 million oz's for less than $33.3 million. These guys might only have 3 million already, but they're Super pay dirt.

It's the only mineral deposit to ever feature in an MTV film clip - Phillip Glass... the one with all the humans mining an open pit...Koyanisqaatski/Baraka style.

It was soo so so rich originally that it had 70,000 dudes digging it up by hand. Watch the film clip (excuse the naked dude in teh first 20 seconds, that was Phillip Glass's idea, not mine.) But watch the clip - it's actually the exact geographical spot where this Canadian/Australian explo company is drilling today.

Not many stocks you can recommend with a film clip, eh?

Or a 60 minutes clip...

Serra Pelada was already one of the greatest names in the very history of gold. The current drilling is taking the legend to a new level, it's not merely doing ok.

The greatest drillhole I've ever heard of, and possibly the greatest of all time, was drilled at Serra Pelada, in an area that the 1980's peasants mined out already.

"43-m-depth interval (4,709 g/t Au, 1,174 g/t Pd, 204 g/t Pt)..including a bonanza-grade one metre interval of (54.5–55.0 m @ 132,000 g/t Au, 11,400 g/t Pd, 359 g/t Pt)

Colossus is currently drilling directly under the area where this drill hole finished in heavy minerlisation.... for the first time ever.

Worth a bet imo.
