Arrow BREAKING: DOLLAR breaking ALL TIME LOWS by the minute

Against the euro in the last two hours:
0.7540 - 0.7530 - 0.7520 ...

BTW, this is one of the components required to do the math here

Wait a little bit...it isn't the minimum
I'm looking the €/$ fall a 1% to the minimum since euro introducing.
Minimum is 1,35
Intresting it's also the $ vs. chf 1,20 it's ready to be tested.
I think during the day we are going to dance

What is a "dollar"?

I can't find a definition anywhere....

There was a prior article on GIM which stated once the dollar broke .80, we were in big trouble. It was quite awhile ago, not sure how to relocate it. P.S. I did a search, got back to 2006, but nothing that really struck me as being that particular article, of course, hard to tell with the captions only. Maybe someone remembers why .80 was some kind of marker not to fall below?

Don't believe it. It will or won't collapse, and nobody here will know when or why until it's well after the fact!

It should have been titled "illusions breaking all time lows"

Falling below .8 seems to be a technical indicator according to charts and psychologically. I would not expect to see any huge moves. Just much of the same - the dollar sliding. We don't need to break below a certain number to realize that. It is happening. .8 will happen, .7 will happen.... Todays drop is huge. Going below .8 may trigger the same type of sell-off. This is just my opinion. I am not a currency trader or expert. Lets see what happens.

It has to correct somewhat. If eventually no one was long on the dollar, the shorts would force it to spike down hard a bit, then when everyone was out long it would stop, as there would be no buyers to get the shorts out of their trades.

To long to post all-follow the link

With lower mortgage bond principal comes higher bond yield. With higher bond yield comes higher mortgage rates. With higher mortgage rates come lower home purchase demand. With lower demand comes lower home prices. The dominoes are falling in ultra-slow motion. With lower home values, less spending results. With lower home values come more decisions to sell properties. With more homes up for sale come an aggravation to inventory strain. With colossal bond damage, related bond and asset sales will ensue. The meltdown is underway. Bear Stearns lit the fire. Wall Street in its infinite stupidity, recklessness, and cliquish behavior endorsed the torching of their colleague's bond basements.
